Hi, i have one of these watches, it hasnt been used in around 10 years and the battery wasnt removed until recently. You will see the #39 on the one pictures. Timex began using a 2 postion alphanumeric code stamped into the case back in 1985. I did not know Quartz Timex started in 1980s. I guess better slow, than hurring thru them and missing something. Thanks for sharing your timepieces, I'm slowly making my way through them, lol. Early 1980's is when Timex started "Quartz" style movements.
